Dear Valued Client,

As part of our ongoing commitment to securing your hosting accounts, we want to remind you of some important steps you need to take.
Hacking attempts against hosting providers and websites have increased dramatically in the last few months.
Our servers are protected with advanced firewalls and security settings, but it is essential that you also secure your individual accounts.

Please take the following actions immediately:

Change Your cPanel Passwords:
All clients should update the passwords for their individual cPanel accounts to strong, secure passwords.

For Reseller Accounts:

  • Change the password for your main WHM account as well.

  • Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for WHM.

  • After that, to access any cPanel account under your WHM, do not use the individual cPanel login credentials. Instead, log in directly from your WHM to manage cPanel accounts.

Important About 2FA:
When setting up 2FA, you will see a code you can manually input — it is not mandatory to scan the QR code.
Use an app like Google Authenticator or Authy on your mobile device to input the code and generate your authentication codes.

Login Issues:
After these changes, it’s possible that cPanel or WHM might not automatically authenticate your login.
If that happens, please email our support team immediately and we will reset your access.

New Security Guides to Help You Further Protect Your Sites:

We highly recommend following these guides to ensure your websites are fully protected.

Why This Is Important:
Without strong passwords and 2FA enabled, your websites and accounts remain vulnerable to malware, phishing, and hacking attempts.
Our server protects the hosting environment, but account-level protection depends on you.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Stay safe and secure,
Hosting Marketers Team
